Today three generations of the Pullan family are actively involved in the day to day operations of the business. Jim Sr. Owner and President continues to oversee the companies operation. Jim Jr.oversees the company’s sales and information technology, Steve is the plant and procurement manager and Bruce manages the company’s Quilting Department. Daughter-in-laws Pam and Lori manage the company’s office operations. Grandson Aaron manages Production Control while continuing to learn all aspects of the business. The Pullan family takes great pride in playing a daily role in the operation and success of the business.
Today Jamestown Mattress has eight factory direct showrooms across western New York and northwest Pennsylvania. These showrooms amount for 50% of the company’s annual sales. Jamestown Mattress continues to have a very strong and growing wholesale and private label business. Currently making bedding for institutions, colleges, hotel/motels, other bedding retailers and several internet companies. Our wholesale business accounts for 40% of the company’s annual sales. The other 10% of our annual sales is generated out of our Quilting Department. We quilt mattress kits for other bedding manufactures across the northeast. Being diversified has enabled our company to stay strong through the economic good and bad times.
Being the manufacturer we can make any special size mattress or box spring. Every week we have orders for special size bedding. We manufacture bedding for boats, tractor trailers, antique beds, RV and campers. If you have a special size requirement we are confident we can make it.
We manufacture conventional two-sided, one-sided, pillow top, euro top and 100% natural/organic mattresses. We use the markets latest technologies and components. We manufacture mattresses that use polyurethane foams, gel infused memory foams and 100% natural and organic latex. We manufacture over 30 different lines of bedding.
